The United Scottish Cultural Society promotes and conducts events, and raises an awareness of the Scottish cultural activities happening throughout Metro Vancouver along with the benefits of involvement in these activities for people of all ages.

    Beginner Gaelic Language Lessons

    Come and join us for Beginner level conversational Gaelic language lessons on Thursday evenings from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

    The classes will run for six weeks from March 2 to April 6, 2017. They are suitable for beginners with no previous exposure to the language.

    The lessons will focus on basic conversational Gaelic, a little grammar where needed, some Gaelic songs and other fun stuff!

    Interested in brushing up on your Gaelic language skills? Please join us for Intermediate Gaelic language lessons at the Scottish Cultural Centre.

    The classes will run on Saturday mornings from 10 am to 12 noon, starting March 4 for six weeks to April 8, 2017. The lessons will focus on advanced conversation skills and Gaelic songs.

    Our instructor, Maureen Lyon, will tailor the class content to the needs of the students in the classes.
