About Us

About Us

Scottish Cultural Centre

The Scottish Cultural Centre is an inclusive multi-use facility with it’s doors proudly wide open to everyone, perfectly located on the West Side of Vancouver, between Oak and Granville streets near SW Marine Drive. We warmly welcome thousands of people every week to participate in all kinds of activities such as dances, weddings, fundraisers, banquets, and others.

Our wide variety of valued guests – including numerous dance, arts and cultural organizations, wedding receptions, non-profit societies, charities, two churches, a local Montessori school, a pre-school – all have come to appreciate and trust the quality of the experience they have at the Scottish Cultural Centre.

The Scottish Cultural Centre has been a Vancouver institution since 1986, and is proud to be a vibrant and multi-cultural space used by locals in the Marpole community and people from around the world.

The Scottish Cultural Centre proudly acknowledges and respects the rights and traditions of the people and culture linked to the shared land upon which this building sits; the traditional unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the communities of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
