John Carmichael, renowned Scottish accordionist and raconteur, is one of the busiest and most popular band leaders and entertainers throughout Scotland and the British Isles. When it comes to all things Scottish, John has played in theatre shows, is a fixture at Burns night speeches, and is a renowned caller for Ceilidh and country dances all over the world. John’s long and illustrious career was marked in 2008 when he was inducted into the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame. John’s humour and music tops an evening bill packed with traditional and popular Scottish music from local and visiting artists, and will be a heartwarming evening enjoyed by those of all ages.
