Fundraising & Donations

Operating a facility the size of the Vancouver Cultural Centre takes a lot of maintenance and improvements, scheduled or otherwise.

As a charitable organization, we struggle to keep up with these challenges. So, we will occasionally run a fundraiser to help us achieve our reasonable, moderate objectives.

Our current fundraiser:

Building Envelope Renewal

For 40 wonderful years, our Cultural Centre has been the beating heart of this community — a place for celebrations, creativity, learning, and connection. Generation after generation has walked through our doors, and we are deeply proud of every story these walls hold.

Now, after four decades of faithful service, those walls need a little love in return.

The Situation

The exterior stucco walls of our building have developed cracks and patches of damage that, left unaddressed, will allow moisture to penetrate deeper into the structure — turning today’s cosmetic issue into tomorrow’s costly structural problem. The good news? Repairing and repainting the stucco now will not only restore the Centre’s welcoming appearance, it will also seal and protect the building for many more years to come.

This is a case where acting promptly saves the community significantly more money in the future — and keeps our home looking its very best.

What We’re Asking

We are reaching out to the people who know and love this place most — you — to help us fund the exterior stucco repair and repainting project. Every dollar raised goes directly toward:

  • Professionally patching and repairing all damaged and cracked stucco sections
  • Applying a high-quality, weather-resistant exterior paint to seal and protect the walls
  • Restoring the Centre’s warm, welcoming appearance for our entire community
  • Preventing costly structural water damage down the road
